Is the Medium the Message?

Doesn't that sky look like God is about to speak?

While we're waiting, let's go look at some flowers. Maybe they are the message.

(Many, many thanks to all of you who've pre-ordered or made plans to pick up a copy of In a Dark Season. It's out tomorrow!

Again, beautiful pictures. :o)

Are you getting excited about tomorrow??? Do they send you 'numbers' about the sale of your book???

Thanks, Pat. The excitement is moderate -- I don't have a real book event till the 31st. I plan to go by a couple of local booksellers and sign stock tomorrow and it is a kick to see my new cover on the shelves but aside from that . . .

There's no fanfare from Bantam for the publication of yet another mass-market paperback (They don't write; they don't call and no, they don't tell me about numbers, not for six months. If the numbers were spectacularly good or a second printing was needed, they'd probably tell me about that.)

The best thing so far concerning this new book (aside from the really nice advance blurbs from Margaret Maron, Carolyn Hart, and Julia Spencer-Fleming) was that my husband, who I gave one of my early copies, is reading it and says he thinks it's the best yet. He likes the fact that there's more from Phillip's point of view.
