Down the Road

This is just to say
It was a pleasure to see
So many nice folks
Who had waited patiently
For the rest of the story.

Yesterday began with spitting snow but turned glorious as I drove to Sylva amid some of the most beautiful fall colors-- whole hillsides of red, valleys of orange and yellow -- and no time to stop for pictures, alas!

Then it was back to Madison County and another reading at the library and back home in the clear cold night. Another event in Asheville tomorrow...

You didn't have time for photos? You might need to leave a little earlier. After all, you know how spoiled I am to your pictures!

I've just been reading about a freak snow storm that hit the north-east. I'm guessing you're on the edge of that?

Great picture! I left CT and NJ just in the nick of time. Missed it by just a couple days. Whew!

You do sound busy - but not too busy to notice the beauty of the seasons.
