Signs of the Season


Blackberry leaves turn . . .


Squirrels feast on Black  Walnuts . . .


Poison ivy takes on beautiful color . . . 


Sang (ginseng) yellows up . . .


Michaelmas daisies sparkle
and wild persimmons ripen.

Interesting to notice that we seem to be looking for all the little signs announcing fall and at the same time to be dreading the cold days which are ahead...

Vicki, you've got some fine seasonal signs there. Each one is a gem.

Let us hope that the hurricane does stay far east over the Atlantic, and stops giving such trouble to the Bahamas.
