All our crows are flying still. They would be exhausted walking and looking for rain around here. We are the county in NC with the highest average annual rainfall and we are in exceptional drought status like most of the rest of the mountains. I've stopped watching the news and now I cannot bear the weather forecasts either.

The drought and forest fires must be very hard on lots of animals, not just human types. Your picture of the crow is a very strong image. xo

Well we have a very good chance of rain tonight. It will take many many rain storms to get us normal again. Our pines are suffering so much. Mother earth keeps telling us and some don't listen!!!!!
